How much practice time is required?

What does “rudiment” mean in scratching?
Scratch “Rudiments” → The most important individual core scratch techniques that are the fundamental building blocks of (almost) all scratch rhythms & combinations.
As a former drummer, I relate scratching to playing drums and percussion, and I teach how to scratch like a percussionist.
In music, a drum “rudiment” is a pattern of drum strokes between the right and left hands that have a specific rhythmic structure and dynamics. They’re also the fundamental building blocks of more complex patterns that drummers play — similar to how scales, arpeggios, and chords form the basis of piano music.
The art of scratching parallels drumming in the exact same way, in that it’s also based around a series of “rudiments” → patterns of movements between the right & left hands on the deck &/or crossfader that have a specific rhythmic structure and dynamics.
All the techniques taught in this course are considered to be essential scratch rudiments because they are some of the most important techniques that not only stand on their own individually, but are also the main elements that the more complex scratch rhythms & combos are created from.

How do I access the materials? Do I need to be online?
Immediately after you click “Complete Order” to purchase Scratch Like A Pro, you’ll automatically be sent to a web page with your receipt with additional information and a link to access the course platform immediately.
When you click that link it will automatically login you in without having to input a password and you’ll begin the onboarding sequence.
You can also bookmark that page for easy access to the program later without having to input your password.
You’ll also receive a receipt and additional login details via email — be sure to check those pesky Spam and Promotions folders!
Once you’re in the course platform you can download the audio drills and use them offline without an internet connection – just burn the MP3s to CD, save them on your thumb drive or import them into your DJ software.
However, the videos aren’t downloadable so you must remain logged into the course platform online to view and interact with the videos.

Can I download the videos?
