If you’re a beginner to intermediate level, this routine is perfect for you to practice using your “dominant” side.
(I prefer my right hand on the record with my left hand on the fader for most of my cuts, so that’s my ‘dominant’ side.)
PRO TIP: If you’re learning a new scratch, try it on both sides just to see which feels easier. Learn it on the easier side first, and then teach your other side how to do it.
Speaking of practicing on both sides, this Q&A practice routine is also a great workout if you’re a bit more advanced but need to practice on your non-dominant aka “weak” side.
I hope you enjoy this 25 minute Q&A scratch practice routine! Lemme know in the YouTube comments if you have any lightning bolt moments!
