🎚️ HOW TO DO THE FADE SCRATCH 🎚️
🚦Start Position:
Volume Fader → BOTTOM (for Fade In)
Volume Fader → TOP (for Fade Out)
🎚️ Step 1: Do ANY faderless scratch &/or rhythm on the record/jog wheel
“Faderless” = Any scratch that doesn’t require the use of a fader, such as Babies, Releases, Drags, Tips, Tears, Bubble Taps etc. 😉
🎚️ Step 2: Slowly move the volume fader Up &/or Down to FADE In &/or Out
And just like that, you’ve got a slick new scratch in your arsenal!
The FADE scratch is not only a dope way to add dynamics to your scratch sessions, but you can also use it in your DJ sets to create super smooth mix transitions too!
