The DICE scratch is just a forward &/or backward Stab scratch without the silent movements & you’re just chopping up the Baby scratch.
★ HOW TO DICE (Forward & Back) ★
Step 1: Start with the crossfader CLOSED
Step 2: Scratch sample position at the beginning
Step 3: Open Crossfader + Push Record/Jog Wheel forward
Step 4: Close Crossfader
Step 5: Open Crossfader + Pull Record/Jog Wheel backward back to start
Step 6: Close Crossfader
💫Pro Tip: A DICE sounds similar to a CHIRP but it’s def NOT the same scratch. 😉
The crossfader starts open & ends open with a CHIRP and therefore requires only 1 click to get 2 sounds. (Unlike the DICE that starts & ends closed & requires 2 clicks for 2 sounds.)
