If you’ve watched the SCRATCH movie, you’ve seen clips of one of my first beat juggles from back in 1999. Today I’m gonna share another classic juggle that I created a few years later so you can see the progression….
This is my oldie (but still goodie!) beat juggle routine with the Beatnuts’, “Watch Out Now,” circa 2003.
If you’ve seen recent vids of this juggle, you may notice that it’s evolved over time, but this is the first time I ever performed it in its first iteration. 😻
And for the record (pun always intended), like all of my early routines, this one is strictly vinyl only.
Just 2 Technics 1210 turntables, 2 vinyl Beatnuts records, and a Rane 56 mixer.
No DJ software or digital anything. (I’m not even using the Pioneer FX500 that’s next to my decks in this one.)
