In this Urban Assault DJ routine, Faust & I are rocking Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol X1 w/ Serato Scratch Live & Rane 57s on 4 turntables.

Circa 2010, Native Instruments asked us to perform a turntablist routine demonstrating Traktor Kontrol X1’s intuitive control over Serato Scratch Live.

We dropped some of our own musical arsenal & customized 12inch Skinz on the X1 controllers, as we performed a 4-turntable routine showcasing how the X1 controller fits a Serato setup as a MIDI controller.

With designated Serato mapping, Traktor Kontrol X1 is a dope controller to intuitively control Serato’s loops, hot cues, and effects as well as the SP-6 Sample Player.
